Mag loaders

A recent thread got me thinking about mag loaders. I like the one I've been using for years but I can't find it on-line.

shopruger.com has a very similar loader, and for the lowest price I could find.

I also have one of those red HKS units but I don't like it.

Different tastes I guess. I have been using the HKS for 25 years and have been happy with them. I have even given a few to friends that are still using them:bthumb:

I imagine it would be pretty tuff to fit "magazine" in that space...besides, who cares???

I keep either a HK or Ruger in each pistol case but take a McFadden if I plan on doing a lot of shooting.

How do those McFadden. Units work for topping off a half empty mag?

It works just like when you load an empty. Check out the you tube videos. I have one and love it. You have to tune it, once that is done it easy as pie.

Sounds like an excellent plan! I have never tried any of the automatic loaders like the McFadden. :bthumb:
