Made In U.S.A. Flag Sticker

Hi, just wondering if anybody knows where I can find the Made In U.S.A. Flag Sticker located on the inside of the plastic gun case that the Ruger Mark-2 Competition and a whole lot of other models came with? Bottom left of this picture I took off the WWW. I'm giving my son a Mark-2 for his birthday but the sticker that came with his looked ratty so I took it off. I emailed the Ruger supplier in Canada to see if they can provide it but it wasn't listed on any parts catalog so I'm not optimistic.

The other thing that I couldn't find a part number for are the 3 stainless filler screws where the rail mounts. If you know the part number or where I can get a set that would much appreciated. I emailed Ruger Canada about the screws and sticker but they likely won't respond until next week.

Thanks!

Did a Google search and the exact sticker found inside the Ruger plastic pistol box came up. Sorry, but can't figure out how to post a Web link on my tablet...

Thanks Ops for the hint. I tried a Google search prior to posting the question and no luck so I tried it again and still can't find it. I've run out of time for now but will try again later.

I don't know how Ruger Canada works. I had a broken manual clip missing on one of my boxes and Ruger USA sent me a new one (free) and it included the sticker.
What we have in Canada would be considered "Ruger Suppliers", private companies that get to sell Ruger under licence. Not the same as dealing direct with Ruger.com I think, but I will find out soon enough.

I have a friend who bought a Ruger Scout 308 that had miss aligned iron sights that you had to set the windage all the way right to get it to shoot straight. He sent it to the Ruger service center in Quebec who sent it to Ruger USA who replaced the rifle a few months later when they did another run of Scouts.

Incidentally, we found out later that many if not all the first production Scout 308's had the same sight issue. Thats why it took so long for my friend to get his replaced, because it was a gun in high demand plus they had to replace a bunch. Good on Ruger for looking after these guys:bthumb:

Here's another possibility for the "MADE IN U.S.A." sticker.

Any decent gun shop or any gunsmith ought to be able to hook you up with some stainless "filler screws." They usually have a box of them, in various sizes/finishes.

Whenever I see a used gun in a gun shop w/o filler screws, I wonder what they're thinking. The things are CHEAP. If I owned a gun shop, I'd have a great big box of them on hand. They can make the used guns look so much better...

Thanks for the link Uncle Howie! I totally agree with you, screws are inexpensive and replacing missing or damaged ones can make the gun look so much better. In older guns I prefer to use the original (flat blade) screws if I can get them.
