Does any one know for sure if the rotary mags for the 10/22 are interchangeable with the M77/22. My reason for asking is because part #'s listed on the Ruger website are not the same. Also if anyone has any extras clips for sale and or trade please PM me.

They are not same. The real 77/22 mag has more of an angle to the feed. You can put a 10/22 mag in a 77/22 but it will rattle around. I bought a used 77/22 that came with a 10/22 mag. The guy said "oh well they fit too." I would not take it and I told him I needed the 77/22 mag. He gladly gave me one and said "thats the one that the owner gave us" I have been told that the 77/22 mag will not work in a 10/22 at all. PM sent on mag for sale.

The 10/22LR and 77/22LR magazines are different. The 10/22LR magazine has a curved bottom, whereas the 77/22LR magazine has a flat bottom.

The 10/22 Magnum and 77/22 Magnum / 77/17HMR magazines are identical and interchangeable.

I use my 10/22 and 77/22 mags between both guns without trouble or question. The only difference is in the design of the mag body (angled to fit the contour of the 77/22 stock). Function wise, they work well in both.
