M1100 range report

Shot last Saturday in cold and windy conditions. The bolt is still a little stiff but between dehorning it , polishing it and just working the repeatedly it is smoothing out. Some of the problem is with the magazine, may need to adjust angles. The little rifle shows promise, it did not like Aguila much but as most have reported it did like CCI Standard Velocity. With a little rubbing and sniping the trigger is very nice, as nice as my Howa 1500 based Chassis rifle in .308.

Shot today. Shot two mags at .22 silhouette swingers at 100 yards No misses. After that I went to CCI Standard from Walmart and it went to poo poo. Back to CCI in 100 round Box from Cabelas and back to great. I bought a goodly amount of CCI Standard in 50 round boxes from Walmart and wish I had not , seems a bad batch.

My M1100 showed up a few days ago and the Talley rings just today. Yea! Hope mine came with the new and improved mags so I don't have a cluster and then call for replacements. S/N xxx4022.

I read the break-in doc on the website, don't tell anyone I read directions please, and it's involved. Simple version = shoot one round, clean, cool down, ... do that 10 times... then more at higher fire rates. Did you, anyone else, go through the recommended break-in process?
Not to that extent . one shot, then brushless bore snake, five shots clean again, ten more, clean and that is about it. Wither I shot one or one hundred shots I pull a brushless boresnake through one time when I get home.

Ditto after any shooting with a snake. My routine is a 1st snake that I use only with cleaner. And then a 2nd one just for oil.

Any other M1100 posts/threads, or other sites, worth following?
