I have a Lyman Super Targetspot Scope in 15X with the box, mounts, recoil spring, and lens cover, rubber eyepiece, and instructions . The serial number is a four digit number starting with a 3XXX. Can anyone help me with the age of this scope?

GR8GIFT,
I appreciate your genuine concern for my safety, However I would'nt be able to sleep well at night knowing that I passed along an unsafe piece of equipment to a fellow shooter. A burden that it is , It would be better that I disposed of it myself.
