Depends on if you want flexibility or not
When I first bought my CZ 452 Varmint, I also bought a set of one-piece CZ factory rings, then took it off when I got a set of BKL 257s. Then, when Brookie developed his 11mm CZ-to-Weaver adapters, I installed those and topped them off with a set of Burris Signature Zee Rings. Since then, I've never looked back!
What did I gain? No more shimming bases, no more lapping rings, no ring marks on scope, great boresighting adjustability without using scope's internal adjustments, no running out of elevation. What more can I say?
