it would weigh pretty much nothing. ive held a 10/22 with a WP barrel. it had a wooden stock, but they weight difference is not that much. it is a night and day difference between my heavy barreled rifle.

After you add a scope it should come in at around 5 pounds or a little more. It makes for a great carry rifle.

I wanna build a whistlepig 18" barrel onto a hogue stock.
Does anybody have one and what does it weigh?

i don't want a carbon fiber barrel.
Take a look at Tactical Solutions barrels. I've owned both TacSol & WP barrels. The TacSol barrels are a better product (IMHO) and price is about the same. After buying my TacSol barrel, I'm selling my WP. TacSol only makes 16".

I weighed mine on a non digital kitchen scale and it was right at 5#. It has a WP 18 inch barrel, Hogue overmold stock and a Tasco pdp4 red dot. This is my second ultimate project. I wanted a lite knock around rifle after I built my first ultimate.

wondering what kind of groups you get with that. I just wanna shoot open sights, maybe firesights, but I want the vented barrel. 18"
