I bought a Remington Nylon 66 a few days ago, but found it had a bulged barrel. I took it back and they gave me a full credit. Before I left I saw this old three screw (converted) with the drift adjustable sight, and decided to get it, since they didn't have any other rifles I was interested in.

Poor picture I know.

S/N is 918XX which if I read those tiny numbers on the Ruger website right makes it a 1958. Finish is worn, but it locks up as tight as a new one. The grips appear to be homemade.
Should have kept that Nylon 66.
Even with the bulged barrel.
I have a buddy, and his barrel is bulged.
Shoots every bit as good as all my 66s.
Go buy it back !
Sometimes numrich has barrels for sale.
eBay almost always do..
Enjoy that 66!

Purchased this beauty in Feb of 2019. 6-1/2" barrel. I put these grips, ordered from Ruger a few months later. They are made by Altamont. The checkering really helps my grip, and they look real nice. She's a tack driver.

There a re some real nice looking pieces in this thread. Keep 'em coming, everyone.

Shoot straight, and be safe!

New Model Single Six

Hey guys,
Does anybody know anything about this two toned, jeweled trigger model?
Serial number 63-..... equals 1975, that's all I can find. Pretty sure it is all factory original.
I do have the magnum cylinder and the original front site.

I have one that looks just like it. However, mine was made in 2015, and I stripped the paint off of the grip frame to look silver color like the one shown. Also, mine is new enough that the trigger and hammer are made of stainless steel.
I purchased this new in 1975, it is a joy to shoot :)

I had my 6 1/2" SS shortened. When my eyes were young I could really shoot the longer barrel, but with aging eyes I can really focus clearly on the shorter front sight.

New Model Single Six and Single Six Hunter. I wasn't sure whether to go
Ultradot or scope on the Hunter. I found a used Simmons Prohunter at a
shop in Gettysburg and decided to try it out. I like it.

My Single Six is pretty common. I picked it up, used, at a local shop a couple of years ago. It shoots quite well (better than my Smith 617, anyway). It's quite a lot of fun to shoot, I wish I had the eyes I used to have back thirty years ago:cool:, so I could take more advantage of it.

Don't you just love that pistol. My S10 is easily the favorite and most "go-to" rimfire revolver I own.
I love the S10 as well. But now I have to stack it up against a revolver I just won on Gunbroker. A S&W Model 17-2 Masterpiece from 1965. Should receive it in a couple days and can't wait to do a comparison shoot.

My newly acquired Single Six Hunter, .22LR/.22Mag. A 2015 model that is brand new, it sat in a gentleman's safe for the last 7 years unfired.

It's time this one started getting used!

The last couple of pictures made me think of showing mine. It is also a 2015 year convertible single-six that had remained unfired up until I bought it a couple years ago or so.
