2014 KIDD Supergrade.
2 Stage Trigger set at 3/3oz.
NF 15-55X Competition with NF Ultralite 30mm Titanium/Alloy Rings.

I purchased this from KIDD in 2014, and I believe it was near the end of the original KIDD Supergrades.
What was different back then was that the barrel was screwed into the receiver (not a switch barrel, and not held by screws), along with the custom McMillan stock with pillars, and which is machined so tight as to be essentially bedded.

Now the new Supergrades have the barrel attached with a long twist-lock tenon and 2 screws which Tony has stated is equal to the original accuracy wise.
I 100% believe him.
Plus you can switch the barrels. Not a small difference.

However, some folks don't believe that, which makes the resale value of this rifle quite elevated. ;)

This rifle has shot all of the RFC 10/22 matches and has done really well in all of them.

It was last years (2021) Championship winner in our year long USBR match shooting 24 total targets in our middle (Sharpshooter) division against 12-15 monthly shooters in that division.
In the end beating out a pair of Anschutz rifles which took 2nd and 3rd.
Gotta love that.

This is its best USBR target.
By the way the rifle had 14,801 rounds down the pipe when I shot this target.

I'm digging all of the photos!!
Looking forward to seeing many more, along with their stories.

Sure glad I ran into my new friend Jon that shared his Kidd slip fit and super grade. Until I met him, I thought Kidd made fire extinguishers and smoke alarms! Snagged my Super Grade with 20" heavy barrel in the KRG Bravo. It has a 5/5oz 2 stage and today I ordered the 18" light weight barrel to reduce the weight. It has a nice Athlon 10-40 SFP scope 40oz w/rings for ammo testing but also like to use a Bushnell Engage 4-16 26oz w/rings for offhand. Feeling like I own two amazing rifles now that only takes a few screws to transform. Looking for a way to use the rear tang arrangement to go into a 2# Hogue stock. Does anyone have something at 2#'s ready to go? I do not want to have to change the tang for whatever I can change it into. 1/2023 update. The 18" barrel is exactly 1 1/2#'s lighter than the 20". Scored a super nice Burris 3-15 for offhand instead of the Engage. Not much lighter but love the reticle in it.

Pic is called Twins, I can see it, maybe you cannot, lol
The red stock one was mine till the wife claimed it, she is pretty deadly to 300 yards with it. The scope on the green stock one is something, Zeiss something, 140 moa of total travel. I have avoided Zeiss like the plague, going to own more of these in the future.

Here's one of mine. All KIDD, except for the stock :) -- an 18" LW barrel (Threaded), two-stage trigger, and scalloped bolt. All in a Ruger Walnut carbine stock heavily massaged by Evan Koch (ek-marlin-424). Evan also did the grip cap, and Chaser did his wonder-polish on the buttplate. It now wears a Leupold VX-2 6-18x40 AO Fine Duplex scope.

I have owned many KIDD and Ruger 10/22 builds over the years and currently stand at six -- four KIDD and two Ruger (though when I say Ruger it usually means receiver only, with a KIDD bolt and trigger). The only KIDD-only build I have is the one above. The reason for that? I have three very nice finger groove stocks that simply will not allow opening the barrel channel to accept a barrel greater in diameter than a traditional sporter. Just not enough wood there. If I have one gripe with KIDD is that they do not offer , and I believe never have offered, a sporter contour barrel. The closest is they're tapered stainless, but still too heavy. :(
