From a tube, 3" ball from my little field piece.
Does launching a 1978 Moto Guzzi 850 LeMans at 120mph off 'a Big bump in the road' and riding it down count? (vision of Slim Pickens 'ridin the bomb'.....); no control, no wings, no pilots license but I WAS most certainly airborn.

Not fired so much as launched. Myself, over the bed of an F150 at about 60mph...cleared it by a few feet. Max height achieved was estimated 15', total air travel about 60'. It was determined I don't have a very high ballistic coefficient.

My neighbor had pretty much the same accident. I saw lifestar helicopter flying over, but had no idea my neighbor was in it. Nearly killed him. He’s got more metal in him than my pickup.
