I think you mentioned this match before, but when is it?
Any info or link you can share. Not to far from my camp

May 27th and 28th

Here is the program flyer, I don't know why they haven't released the registration form when they have for the others.

I will be at the Keystone Classic, Super Shoot, and Lever Action Nationals as well as the Sporting 22 match the day after.

In case anyone is wondering Sporting 22 is very popular in Mexico; it's a STOCK off the shelf rifle with iron sights; no peep sights like the Williams/Lyman etc. It's shot on 1/2 scale lever action targets.

You can find the program information for the others at www.Ridgwayrifleclub.com at the top of the page.
Steyrx3, you didn't mention the Sierra classic, it's the weekend following the lever nationals... aren't you going to stick around for that?

I will think about it...it's such a massive cost to stay in that motel, I hate that. On top of it I would need to dial in for every animal but chickens and I don't have a scorer/spotter for any of the matches, but I will be bringing a spotting scope and binoculars, so hopefully I can find someone.

I'm still trying to dial in my lever actions...I just got a magnetospeed and will hopefully get everything pretty close.

EDIT: Ok I'm all booked for keystone, Lapua, Nationals-Sierra.

Chickenhater,I’ll be shooting the Lapua Super Shoot. It’s a grueling endurance to shoot 2 guns, hunter and standard classes. It’s silhouette, and what we do for fun. It’s also the best run matches anywhere.
If weather cooperates it’s a great time.Be prepared for hot or cold.Preferably warm.
Ridgway is my home club and 60 miles one way.I agree the hotel stays are expensive but the extra hours driving ( rt948 truck route)dodging deer, make hotel staying more acceptable.Especially the week of Leveraction Nationals,Open Sight Sporter Rifle and Sierra Classic.I can’t go anywhere for less and shoot 6 rifles 3 different events, enjoy a great range.
For those who have never attended a Ridgway silhouette match, please join us.Make your accommodations early.
I agree, Ridgway is THE club when it comes to silhouette. They shoot it all... well except pistol, but then no one else really seems to anymore.
Steyr, I'm certain you would find a spotter for the classic but I reccomend that you ask to be squaded with Benny and me, that way you will definetly have a spotter. If you are shooting something in the 6.5mm or 30cal family I can get you close, dope wise.
Hope others here that enjoy silhouette will make it to Ridgway for at least one of these fun events this year. If you go there once, you will be back.

All you faithful silhouette shooters who make the effort, time, expense to shoot at Ridgway are what makes it happen.Weather puts a damper on it sometimes, yet we still shoot.
Thank You

the weather in ridgway can change in a flash. i have learned to bring cold weather gear to ridgway no matter the time of the year.
Absolutely!!! We were up there a year or two back, and it was 48° one July morning! Always take a few long sleeve shirts and a jacket or coat...
24 days till Lapua Super Shoot for 22 Silhouette at Ridgway.
Still time to get signed up.
Check for hotel accommodations or bring your own.
This Super Shoot is exactly that.Six 40 shot matches on Saturday followed by four 40 shot matches Sunday. This match will test your stamina.
If your into 22 Rifle Silhouette this is the Grand Prix.
Talked to Harold, while I was up there this past weekend, regarding the LSS. He gave me the name of the contact person, to get signed up proper, though he said he would add me to the list, but I've forgot the name... who is running that match?

Anthony. I just mailed my check and included my info.
This weekends monthly sb match had perfect weather.Target setters were a new group and did the job with hustle and perfection.
All those who helped setup targets noticed the berms have been groomed in prep for Lapua Super Shoot.

5 days away for Lapua Super Shoot.
Are you Ready?
It's not looking good for me to make this shoot. My normal critter sitter isn't available, I just found a stand by yesterday, but checked the Royals website for rooms and there aren't any available for Friday...
