I've got one, too, on my SE, and I am waiting for the front sights/adapters as well.

stray round: Did you get the "Match" or the "Olympic" peep?

"Olympic" has a glare tube on the "front" side of the peep, (kinda like a miniature scope sunshade) slightly different adjustment knobs. Might be slightly finer "clicks". Larger peep disk. Rarer, I hear. Functionally, about the same. Here's a picture of one on my BRNO 3S:

Certainly. The sights are available from brnomann - just PM him here at RFC. Or, you can look on GunsAmerica - just type in BRNO and "nongun" and his ads will come up under DEJAY. Denny is a really neat guy and you will enjoy his enthusiasm for all things BRNO. The sights he has available were originally made for the BRNO target models and have a 16mm bottom groove - be sure you ask him for the 16 to 11mm adapter when you order. The rear sight -either "Match" or "Olympic" will, with the adapter, fit onto the 452's 11mm groove.

Still lacking, and soon to be available thru brnomann, is the compatible front globe sight setup. According to Denny, the front sights he has coming will adapt to the CZ 452 front dovetail, and will complete the set.

Nothing against Brookie's aperture sight - I have a couple of those and love them - but this looks like the real thing - and with real Czech parts, too!

Range report - BRNO 3S

Took out my new (made in 1956!) BRNO Model 3S this morning. After a little sighting in and few rounds downrange at 25 and 50 yards, we were breaking eggs with it at 100 yards. Boy, that is a s t r e t c h for these old eyes! I could hit about 5 out of 10 at that range. Maybe I can do better with some practice...hard for me to even see the egg at that range....

No, but it is simple to remove. I believe these sights will only "fit" the Trainer, Special, Lux, UltraLux and Super Exclusive - all the guns with the "battle" sights and the 11mm rail.

Thanks. I love it, so far.. It "likes" Wolf MT and - wouln't you know it - my precious "stash" of Federal UM1.

I also have a Model 1 coming from brnomann "..to look at and see if I like it..." Yeah, sure - I'm not going to like it, right? Better make room for another gun safe....
