Stripped down my 10/22 T last night and had a ball very easy. However I found out in the process that the scope base screws are stripped. Must be why I had trouble holding a good group consistantly. It was bought used bet that is why the guy got rid off it. What is the best fix on this?

Brownell's sell a oversize #6-48 tap and screws that are in-expencive... I used this many times, screws are about .015 oversize and in most cases there is no drilling involved... Just oil the tap and chase the original hole... Normally I just see the second hole in from the front of receiver stripped, 1 hole...
