July 2021 50 Yard Scoped CZ/BRNO Rimfire Benchrest Match
There will be a couple of differences in the 50y match vs the 25y, but overall it is very close.
No weight limits, but classes.
Classes:
CZ or BRNO factory barrelled action scoped heavy barrel/varmint: If your rifle is considered a varmint/heavy barrel from the factory, then this is the class/list your rifle will be on.
CZ or BRNO factory barrelled action scoped sporters: If you rifle is not considered a varmint/heavy barrel this will be the class/list your rifle will be on.
for the above classes, same rules as the 25y game apply:
No aftermarket barrels or stocks - only CZ's original stocks and barrels. It is also prohibited to swap the stocks of different CZ models such as taking the stock from a Varmint and putting it on a Trainer. If one has damaged his/her original CZ stock, they may order the same exact factory replacement stock for their specific model. There are other BR games on RFC for dramatically altered rifles. We are trying to encourage competition with unmodified or minimally modified scoped CZ sporters. As to custom stock bedding performed on a factory stock, no compound-bedding allowed, pillared or non, and plain pillar bedding is prohibited as well.
CZ or BRNO unlimited class: This is for factory CZ/BRNO actions with aftermarket barrels/stocks
Any safe trigger. Any Glass allowed for all classes. if you have a t36, and you want to put it on your factory rifle, this one is for you!
Target is the USBR Target (The Green Monster), or you can print your own target from here. We will use the same format as the GM, 25 for score and 3 sighters
Here are the printable:
http://gregledet.net/files/Green M...Target 2.pdf
Due to the differences in the GM and the practice GM, anything that doesnt break the 6 ring on either target will be marked as a 0. So no 4 or 5 pointers will be counted on the GM. That was the only way I could think of that we could fairly score both targets the same.
22 long rifle
Fired from a benchrest using separate front and rear support and a bi-pod is fine if the shooter prefers. Gun vices and one piece rests are not allowed.
Distance to target is 50 yards
Time limit - 1 hour for unlimited sighters and the 25 rounds for score
You can shoot on an indoor range if it is your only option, but please report that fact in your post.
You can post multiple targets if each is fired with a different CZ. For example, a shooter could post one with his/her CZ Varmint and another with his/her CZ American and a third with a scoped Ultra Lux! You may shoot up to FOUR targets with EACH rifle and post the highest score fired with each one.
Post a pic of your target (required) and the equipment you used (recommended) in this thread by June 30, 2021.
Wind flags are fine. I usually tie a piece of bright streamer or the like to a hammered-in stake.
Use this format to post your score(s):
Official Entry

250-25X
Crawford Goldsby (Cherokee Bill)
CZ 452 American, Weaver 6X24 @ 9X

USBR scoring rules apply. Those can be found in the 25y game, I think we are all aware of how to score, but if there are any questions, I am sure any number of us can help. Time for fun!
