Can anybody tell me the approximate final thickness of the JB Weld once it has cured and been sanded to fit ? I know everybodys will vary but I just want to be close in range so I do not have to file to much off or apply too little.

put some on there and wait untill it gets like a putty consistancy and it wont stick to your fingers , Than put the disconecter on the sear and that should mold it to the proper shape .

FYI,
I use Super Glue brand Fast Setting Metal Epoxy.
It sets in 4-6 minutes.

Low end: 1/32"

High end: 1/16" (((Approximately, of course. They all differ a bit.)))))))))

..at least that's how mine worked out
