Just got my rifle back from Lapua. Went out this am to re tune with the Centerx my lot testing suggested. Attached are my initial 10 shot groups. Wonder what your thoughts are on where you would take it after these initial groups. Several of the groups show promise, but not really sure If one might stick out to some of you more experienced shooters.

Read up on this thread. I use my spreadsheet to calculate my tuning. The best setting for me was to match the bullet body length to the quarter wavelength of the standing wave and dampening the frequency response of the barrel base on the inverse of the time it takes the bullet to exit the crown of the barrel.

You are wasting your time with that, if anything I’d guess you made it worse. Among issues is that BS stop in back is a hard stop, makes gun “ bouncy” likely to get lots of unintentional vertical. Lastly, those 3 little hard points it sits on are virtually useless.Sell it and get a rest/rear...
