Several years ago there were rumblings about Taurus coming out with a Model 590 Revolver in the Tracker Series of our favorite 5mm caliber. It was introduced in 2008, but, sadly..., it was never to be.



At the time, I ran down to my nearest dealer and placed my order. I checked on it every couple of weeks and was informed, 3 or 4 months later, that my order was canceled.

C'mon Taurus..., get it back on the drawing board

Was thinking about this yesterday...

Was looking at the Taurus pistols in 17HMR and thought about the 5mm.
They must have made up a few,wonder how many and who got them.Thinking since the Smith and Wesson 647s are kinda scare maybe a Taurus would be ok,also thinking a 17WSM would be neat and if they did make the 17WSM a 5mm would not be that tough to add also.Since you can buy Aquila ammo,why not

But think how valuable those few made would be, after the next time they do the Remington impression. Maybe some in the know have already preproduction purchased a huge quantity. Hmm!
