The USBR targets are printed on heavy tagboard paper. The fibers in this paper are short and the bullets print clean holes without tearing.
Target size: 14" x 16".
Three sighter bulls and 25 record bulls.
10 ring is .100"
4 ring is 2.050"
These targets are used in:
Sanctioned USBR Tournaments
The International Rimfire Postal Matches
The International Rimfire E-Mail Matches.
AND: You can get 28 five shot groups on one target.
Hard to beat that for cost and quality, when compared to inkjet printed targets printed on thin paper.

You should also order a scoring gauge from the NRA.
Call: 1 (800) 336-7402
Ask For 22 Caliber scoring gauge #17230
If you want the .17 caliber scoring gauge ask for . . .
17 caliber scoring gauge # 17310
Each gauge will cost you $4.00 plus postage.
Have your credit card handy.
Some of the Shooting Supply companies also sell the official NRA gauges.

New information on ordering USBR Targets. (Dec. 22, 2008)
If you are willing to order 250 or more USBR targets at one time, you can get the best possible prices direct from the printer: American Target Company in Denver, Colorado.

Their shipping cost is VERY low. I paid 50 cents for shipping on our club's last order for 1000 targets.

Here is the URL to their site: http://www.americantargetcompany.com/

The USBR target for our 25 & 50 yard matches is in the Misc. Targets section.
Go to this URL: http://www.americantargetcompany.com/ Click on "Misc. Targets". Scroll down to the third row of targets. Order the light green USBR target.

The special dark green "USBR Iron Sight" target is no longer used in the RFC Iron Sight matches.
Order the NRA A23/5 target for the 50 yard iron sight matches. It is in the Small Bore Rifle section. Go to this URL: http://www.americantargetcompany.com...le_targets.asp You will find the A 23/5 about 1/3 of the way down the page.
