I have got a couple of boxes of Winchester Leader Staynless 22 Long Rifle that are in excellent shape and both are full boxes of ammo the ammo looks very good also.These are said to be be made before 1950 anyone happen to know how old they really are?The box is yellow and dark blue and has a little red W at the bottom center of the box.How old do you think these are?Opinions Wanted . Thanks Roy;)

Mine have the code LD22LR, printed on a flap.

Here are the specs, from a 1955 Shooter's Bible:

40grains

1145 f.p.s. (349 m/s) @ the muzzle

116 ft.lb. (157 Joules) @ the muzzle

I can remember the "Winchester Leader Staynless" 22 Long Rifle cartridges from the early 50's....! ! ;)
