CONGRATS! My lovely bride & I celebrated 20 years on 7/20/22. Time flies!

3 observations--

1) "Yes Dear" never runs out of mileage.

2) If a man is in the forest talking, and there is no woman around to hear him, he is still wrong.

3) My grandfather told me 50 years ago....

25 years as of May 2022. She caught a 30" land locked striper when we were in Arkansas last month for the Family Rebellion 2022.

47 years and still counting. It ain't easy, but it is worth the effort that it takes. (A LOT of effort). She doesn't
shoot, but does manage to tolerate my need. Payback is somewhat a stretch at times...

25 years at the end of the month. It still doesn't seem like half that long. I guess I would say that we were lucky to have chosen well. Love is great, but I think it also helps if you like your spouse. Why would you want someone you like to be unhappy, even for a moment? The other thing, is that I like to talk -- you can probably tell that from my posts. In my case, it feels like a good conversation that is still going strong. That's a match thing. If I had chosen someone who didn't enjoy that conversation . . .well 25 years is a long time to stay quiet. And after all, you have to do something in the other 23 hours and 45 minutes of the day . . .

As of July 17th, it was 57 years and counting. First date when we were both 16 in high school nigh onto 62 years ago. I have a gem!

I cant speak for myself..didnt last..but my parents were married for over 60 years when my dad passed......getting or being married now in todays world isnt anything like it was back in the day for my parents generation...
