I read the sticky and don't understand it.

I took my 93R17 to the range last Saturday and shot a bunch. As I remember the trigger was quite heavy but fairly smooth and consistent with the let off.

It didn't bind very much. I guess a little now that I think about it. It would be nice to have a 2-4 pound trigger in it. Feels more like 8-12 right now. Just don't get it on how a shim will lighten the pull.

Also, does anyone have more step by step photos to show how this is done?

Especially the part about drilling the shim so that it doesn't bind on something.

Thanks in advance.

Also, there are instructions on the replacement of the pull spring which will lighten the trigger pull.

In addition, the side to side wobble of the facotry trigger was quite bad on mine. I opted for the Rifle Basix sear swap instead of the shim job but I can see how the two different shim jobs plus the replacement of the spring can work for you.

That is exactly what I was looking for. Now it makes a lot more sense.

Thanks. :t
