High Performance Ruger bolt DLC coating

Has anyone bought one of these? A little less than half of the cost of a Volquartsen. I have a Volquartsen DLC bolt for a 10/22 and they are incredibly slick and a lot smoother than the factory one.

I have the volquartsen DLC Competition bolt in my Mark IV Competition, and I LIKE IT !
I just ordered one and it'll be here next week. It's worth $99 to try.

Thats what I was thinking considering what all you get with it. I am very happy with the DLC finish on my 10/22 bolt.
Mine arrived yesterday. I’ll throw it in my Mark IV tomorrow and see what happens, but I expect it to be boringly reliable.
I ordered one myself the other day. I'm now waiting for the delivery. Hopefully it will be here tomorrow so I can try it out this weekend!

Hanging out on this forum is getting expensive. Thanks for the heads up!
Dropped the new bolt in this morning (took longer to unpack it than install it). A little bit of lube and off to the range.

Went bang every time, as expected. Maybe I'll try it in my Mark II if I get bored.

I didn't NEED it, but what the heck, it was "only" $99.

BTW, the eBay listing indicated a heavier and lighter recoil spring were included, but they were not in my box.
Mailman just dropped mine off. It's a slippery beauty!

Bag has an extra gold and silver spring. I'll have to look up the specs on the springs.

More parts seem to turn into more pistols. I need to shoot more and spend less time online!

Thanks again for the tip. Seems like a fantastic bolt at a great price.

Mine is due tomorrow. I was afraid they were going to be out of stock before anyone received one to give a report so I ordered one.
They were selling these for $80. Didn't see it until it was at $99. I put it on my saved list, which sellers are notified of, and VQ came back with an offer of $89. Now out of stock. I was tempted but I already have one of their coated competition bolts. Have to admit it is bling nice but a polished factory bolt with a VQ firing pin and extractor works just as well. Betting as they make up more of these there will be another discounted offering of cosmetic seconds again in the future.
The reason to get this coated bolt is not primarily for the performance or reliability, it's for the ease of cleaning.

Wait! You’re supposed to clean these things?

J/K. I do every presidential election.
