Did anyone make a real "Hi Cap" for the Ruger?

I think BC or someone made a 12 round plastic magazine,
but did anyone every produce a real 20 or 25 rounder?

Don't suppose anyone got around to making a snail-mag either?

Boy how I hate to load .22 magazines!

I did see a few of the "quick loaders" around - haven't really
looked at one close yet. Do they eat your magazines like
they did to the 10/22 magazines?

at a gun show and I don't see how it could wear out a magazine. The bullets line up in a slot and when you push the mag in it uses the button to depress the follower while dropping 10 rounds in. Very slick, and very fast.

The only other loader I've seen is the little ring that you slip over the mag to press the button down easier. Saves the thumb, but you still have to drop them in one-at-a-time.

I can't speak for the loader above, but the one's I've seen
for 10/22 seem to work the same way.

You line up 10-30 cartridges then shove them straight down
into the magazine.

The problem I have, is that the magazines (typically?) are loaded
with the cartridge butt pushing down and then slide to the rear,
seating the cartridge in the magazine.

If you were to push it straight down from the top, the cartridge,
and especially the rim, put a lot of wear and tear on the feed lips.
This is especially a problem for plastic-lipped 10/22 magazines
(you know - the expensive $60 30-rd jobbies!).

Am I making too much of it? Do the metal-feedlips take this
action better?

I have one of these and it is GREAT!!!!!!, it does not force them, the shells lines up offset and just fall in and then slide back, just like loading one at a time, it does not force them thru feed lips, they realy just fall in, 10 at a time. 20.00 to 30.00 on Gunbroker.com

I have 10 or so of the 14rd'er and they have always worked with no jamming.In a 1/2 dozen different Mk2 pistols.
