Hammer spring question

444 3
I notice on some posts, other people who install a VQ target hammer say to use factory spring, why is this? Is the spring that comes with the new hammer worse?

Yep, the stock spring has the tension to lite your ammo. Try swapping springs, the Volq spring might work. The stock spring is recommended because we have all played the spring game and all went back to the stock spring. Just because it's pretty, chromed, nice packaging, doesn't make it better. Everyone wants a show piece, but most everyone here are more interested in the down range results. Can't buy a score. Or as Jerry Titus said about a Trans Am Mustang 'Well you can't turn a pig into a thoroughbred, but you can have a **** fast pig."
