I decided it was time for a me day today and went hunting.  The White River Wildlife Area is open now so I went there.  Its somewhere over 35,000 acres and has lots of steep hillsides.  I like to walk the hillsides and shoot downhill.  I had to take the .22 Hornet since the gray diggers in there are pretty wary and 100 yd shots are the norm.  I managed to get a couple that were sitting on fallen trees.  One word describes those two.......Airborne  :)  I managed to sneak up on a small herd of  Blacktail deer and got within 50 yds before they saw me.  I counted 20 before they vanished into the scrub oaks.  All in all it was a great day.  Fired 5 times got three.  One I cleanly missed and the other hit twigs I couldnt see through the scope.
