I am looking for this excellent Forum to recommend a gunsmith for my CZ452 American. I need help in simple things like 1. improving trigger creep through Brooks kit or adjustable sear from Brownells, 2. glass-bedding the action and free-floating the barrel, 3. installing/sighting a scope. I recently became handicapped but can use the wheelchair; my 13-year old son shoots pretty well for his age, so I thought the CZ will be excellent for our fun together. A local gunsmith (a dealer, really) is not familiar with CZ rimfire and wanted outrageous sums of money for these 3 things (which would double the cost of the rifle).
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
TIA

Thank you

Dwight and Vepr, for the advice. Yes, the rifle is .22LR, but the trigger feels heavy and creepy. I bought the rifle about 8 months ago, but have not installed the scope (I have Simmons 6-24x44 AO) and have not shot it because of the injury. Now I am able to get out of the house and am hoping to get around and start shooting. I just wanted a gunsmith to set the rifle as I still feel pretty awkward and my son does not know how to deal with the scope.

Thank you for all the advice

What a wonderful Forum! I think I'll just try to mount the scope and get to shooting and figure other things later when/if I get better. Our range is in a nice wooded area with plenty of deer (no hunting, of course), so I will just enjoy my day there, and will bring my son too.
Thanks again!
