Found some Wolf Match Target at a true value. He is having a sale on ammo. The box of 50 was $2.50. Is this a good price? He has another box. Should I get it? I hear this is the hot ammo for 10/22s. Thought I would give it a try.

Yes get it.. WMT usually shoots very well in most guns. But as stated many times here before, ALL rimfires are different, 2.50 is a good price.
how does 29.99/500 sound? i cant get it locally, and actually i wont pay a single cent at that price from cabelas, got their cabelas club visa and got 50 bucks free for cabelas and get more everytime i use my card (1% cashback, 2% if used for cabelas)

im gonna order a brick someday when i figure out what else i wanna throw in. :) maybe some rings for the cz... they have some bsquare air gun rings that should fit for 19.99

that takes care of my 50 :)
Champion Shooters still has Wolf MT on sale for $215 a case, or only 2.15 per box. :)

Gee, that IS a good deal. I'm getting stung for $32 a brick locally...
The Champions deal is a while supplies last deal. They weren't low on quantity when I spoke with them a week or so ago, but good prices cause big purchases.

They also said when this stuff is gone, the price will be back up to 250/per.
Don't forget that shipping adds around $10 for the first brick. Additional bricks add smaller amounts, but you usually end spending around $2.80-$3.00/box

I'd say that $2.50 and no shipping is the best price around.

Ah HA! The "fly in the ointment" ;) I knew it was too good to be true! :D

215 + 23 makes for 2.38 /box when the dust settles. Your mileage may differ.
I think you will all find that Champion Shooters Supply is extremely honest with shipping costs. I believe that they do not add anything to their actual UPS cost.

I remember that the UPS cost was about $15 for them to ship my last case of SK (10 bricks) which is an amount not unlike the sales tax that I would have paid if I had bought locally.

John
Same experience John. Two weeks ago they were out of th SK but gave me Wolf Match Extra at 215/ brick plus 15 freight. No extra charges.
Hi All,
Can someone tell me where Wolf Ammo is made.
S/S
Cheaper than Dirt has Match Target for $39.97 ........Dirt must be expensive
Thanks CZ,
That sounds like a "good" thing.

Cheaper does not sell any where near the quantity of ammo (at least Wolf etc) that Champion does.

Here to Mid N Mi (about 400 mi) a case of 22 (5000) is just under $16. at last summers UPS prices.

I want to get another case and a coulpe bricks of Match extra but think the ME freight will be quite a bit addn as it will probably be a second box. If I get them to remove a couple bricks of MT will I get the case price?? problems, problems.

Most of the Centerfire stuff is Russian made AFAIK.

The 22 stuff is made at the SK Jagd factory in East Germany, now part of NAMMO, the Lapua parent company. :)
I have said it before but will repeate myself. Champions choice is a class act among the mail order outfits.Regular prices are good, sale stuff is great, and shipping is always fair and cheep. They have gone out of their way to track me down 8 months after I had tried to order something that had been on sale and they had sold out of . They offered me the original price which was well below their current price !
There is no reason to mess around buying rimfire ammo anywhere else
