Got my 452 17HMR in heavy barrel

Has a nice feel to it. No checkering on forearm, little nicer shaped forearm than my 452 22mag. Trigger is horrible. Ordered Brooks' trigger kit for it.

Also the safety works much easier than my other 452. I'd swear I had to take a rubber mallet to it(well, maybe a slight exaggeration.)

Something different between the two rifles. My old 22mag had polished receiver and barrel, this one has matte receiver and semi-polished barrel(certainly not high gloss).

Can't wait to October for crow season.
