I just recently got my gm 10/22 barrel, and stuck it on the gun, and fired it(its beded into a sanded out original wood stock).

Im wondering about the internal finish of the thing, If I shine a flashlight and look at a 60 degree angle into the end of the bore, I can see some slight machining marks, I noticed more sever ones on my original barrel, right now I am getting 1/2" 10 shot groups at 25 yards with dynamapoint, with a 3-9X40 bushnell, wich has verry bad paralax problems at this range.....

are these machineing marks normal for GM barrels?
