Hi I am new to the site. Found it while searching for info on CZ's, and must say it is quite a source of information. I should be getting my CZ Ultra Lux with the 28 3/4" barrel this week, can't wait!

I work in a gun store which is how I came into this CZ rifle, don't know much about them but it sounds like a great gun. I am getting it for cost plus shipping (neener neener, lol). As a side note we will be stocking a few of these models and they seem to be readily available for now if anyone is interested.

Any tips for shooting these guns? I have found a lot of info on trigger work and scope rings, but still not sold on what scope to get if any at all. Anything special as far as breaking in the barrel or cleaning? Thanks -Mike

Congrats.

Just out of curiosity, what is cost on this gun?

I saw another one at the gun show Saturday and it was $299. I talked the guy down to his rockbottom price of $259, but he wouldn't match the local gun shop's regular price of $249.

Just curious.

Not sure exactly what retail will be, but (you didnt here it from me) dealer cost is a little under $200. I will know the exact amount here when it comes in, not my area of the gun shop, me=gun shop slave lol.

I got one on Saturday at the gun show in Belton, Texas, for $210. No haggling. That was the tag price, and I didn't even try to negotiate, as that price seems like a tremendous bargain. Another dealer at the show had one tagged at "$259 - BELOW DEALER COST!!!"

Can't say about .17s. I'm not allowing myself even to glance at any .17s, as I've got to darn much on my wish list already.

Other rimfires I noticed at the Belton show were 6 or 5 Nylon 66s, all of which were beat up, dirty, and rusty, and all WAY overpriced. Also a pretty nice Winchester 63 tagged at $595.
