I am looking at these two

Sinclair Heavy Varmint AP Windage Right-Hand

$379.99

http://www.sinclairintl.com/shooting-rests-bipods/shooting-rests-tops/shooting-rests/sinclair-heavy-varmint-rests-prod57001.aspx

OR THIS ONE THAT COSTS LESS

http://www.grizzly.com/products/Rest-Slingshot-Cast-Iron/BE1006

Is the Sinclair worth that much more ?

And if I could.....have opinions on both of them if you own either one.

Both are more than I want to spend and I probably don't need that good of one, but would like it to be the last one I buy in my lifetime and have something good to pass on to my Son;)

Thank You

JEFF:D

P.S. If I put this in the wrong section U Mod er Raders can move it if you want:bthumb:

I just couldn't bring my self to spend that much so I ordered .....

http://www.amazon.com/Caldwell-440907-Rock-BR-Rest/dp/B000S5W78A/ref=sr_1_1?s=sporting-goods&ie=UTF8&qid=1403565997&sr=1-1&keywords=Caldwell+Rock+BR+Rest

And one of these

http://www.amazon.com/Protektor-Model-Rabbit-Rear-Bottom/dp/B006MFYQ5C/ref=sr_1_1?s=sporting-goods&ie=UTF8&qid=1403566147&sr=1-1&keywords=Protektor+Model+Rabbit+Ear+Rear+Bag+with+Hard+Bottom

And one of these

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0030HQDMO/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

And the rubber feet from Caldwell

Ended up costing $210.00 Total

How did I do ??????

And how about the Protector rear bag ...is that the right size for the rest.

And the Protector bag for the rest.....Good ?

I was up till 2 AM deciding on this stuff.......So I hope I got the right stuff.

The only thing I might have to get another of is the Protector rest bag ...might need a wider one for some of my guns.

Thank You All For your input before this post and look forward on hearing how I did after my orders.

Thanks JEE :bthumb:

NEVER...... ENDING.......SPENDING ........This IS FUN :yikes::yikes:

THIS IS IN THE WORKS TO SET ALL THIS STUFF ON.......... IT'S A LITTLE OVER HALF DONE

A BIG THANKS TO Larry Willis for his plans but his site wont load right now:mad:

This is a picture of his I think. If not thanks, his is similar.

Made a couple of changes ,but not much.

The legs won't have quite that much angle to them and it will be cut out for right or left handed shooters ( My Son is left handed......he just loves me when I buy a gun with a thumbhole stock :smashfrea )

I have that rest and it does very well for me. I do not compete except against myself so it is great for me. I did do some changing on it, here is the thread that might help.

I think I'm going to send that Caldwell back and have one of these made.

Since I have my own range I won't have to worry about lugging it around and it looks pretty well made.

I don't want to put together a rest with different manufacturers cobbled together

To tell the truth I'm VERY satisfied with the Caldwell Rock BR I just received and plan on keeping it. I think it will do a very good job for me ;) :D

That one above is nice, but if I got one I would have to build a showcase for it and just look at it
