I have one of the old Savage Anschutz Model 10's that someone fitted a Freeland Handstop rail to years ago. None of the current handstops seem to fit as they are very wide and thin. This rail is more narrow and has a much deeper slot in the rail. Does anyone know about this rail and can guide me to handstops, etc. that may fit? The outside deminisions are also different from the replacement rails available from Champions Choice, etc.

Yes, that's Champion's Choice outside of Nashville, TN. I got a handstop from them that is of new manufacture and will not fit the rail. I would change rails but they are a little different on outside deminisions. I didn't talk to Homer, who has been around since dirt was new, so I may have to do that.

Hats off to you guys. I looked on Champion's Shooters Supplies website (for the blue millionth time!!) and they do make a "narrow, deep" handstop.
