Well I finally had a chance to take my new Savage 93R17 GV to the range. I was using Hornady V-Max 17gr. ammo. with a Simmons 3x9x40 Scope. I know not much of a scope, but it will do for now. I didn't have a lot of time to shoot it, but at 100 yards I had a 3 shot group of about an inch. I was pleased with the first group with this rifle. I hope to go to the range this week and shoot it some more. This is the first 17HMR I have shot, and I really like this cartridge, it feels like more of a centerfire cartridge than a rimfire. All and all it was fun to shoot .

A nice cool morning or evening with a slight breeze is awesome.

You'll find the more you shoot the little Hummer the more you'll love it.
