I'm putting a Williams peep sight on my Wally World limited edition accurized stainless steel 10-22 rifle and would like to remove the stock rear sight and install a blank in the dovetail. What is the size of the dovetail? Does anybody know where to get a stainless steel blank? The blanks I found in Brownells were all blued. Is there something else I could use? Should I throw the barrel away?

I haven't looked, and am only making a guess, but I'd be extremely surprised if you can't get them through brownell's.

No kidding, I bought a Wally special last week, and plan on a Williams WGRS peep, and just this morning, wondered if there were SS blanks, the ones I had found in Brownells were, like you said, all blued!!

No, but I do know how to use the SEARCH feature available on most supplier's Sites......! !
