Hello to all,
Can anyone tell me the difference between my old 25N and the newer version 925's? Just realized/found out that my old betsy model number doesn't exist in their web-site anymore.

Marlin also cheapened up on the metalic sights for the 925.

The 25N's that I've bought have screw adjustable or lockable Williams WDOS sights on them, the 925's have stamped steel ones with an elevator bar and drift windage.

Thanks for your info. Currently my Marlins have scopes on them so I wouldn't need the iron sights. I guess they traded a good trigger for cheam/inexpensive iron sights. Either one works as these aren't designed for target in the serious sense. I really wish they'd bring back the 2000 model. Boy they made a big mistake in my opinion. Anyone know why they did this also?

Serious target rifle crowd overlooked them, squirrel rifle buyers overlooked them. Price made them not seem like marlins. And they weren't all that available. I cannot ever remember seeing any of my dealers stocking them, so they were more of a custom order ordeal. Don't know how many were actual made and sold. I'd sure like to own one though

I see your point. I have one bought justoff the shelve just like all the other one bought in the past. I had though they were standard production rifles and not custom order.
