Is not being adjustable for parralex a deal breaker for a scope?

Speaking only for myself it would be due to the various distances I shoot, particularly with my air rifles that I hunt with. I don't know how I ever got by without adjustable parallax once I had scopes with it.

Yes. on anything over 6 X .
Also I want the side focus, not the front focus too! Easier to adjust.

For silhouette definitely.
Needs to be +15x, with good turrets and parallax.

Yes, I would not buy a fixed parallax scope again. And with that I would not buy capped turrets ether, I prefer exposed turrets with zero stop.
It would depend entirely on it's use. It is perfectly fine on my hunting rifles and they are so equipped but for target rifles I prefer AO.

No parallax adjustment would be a deal breaker for me also. Another would be a reticle that is to busy such as the various "ballistic drop types". I found that a crosshair or duplex type reticle worked best for me. Easily adjustable target type turrets are a nice as well.

100% depends on what I'm using the scope for. I currently now own 23 rifle scopes most (90%) sit on top of either shorter range hunting rifles (12ga sluggers, 450BM, 50&45 cal ML's) or 22lr fun pinking rifles that do not need an adjustable parallax, exposed turrets or a zero stop.
For my long range HP rigs and 22lr competition rigs yes parallax is a must. On my HP hunting rig, and steel challenge 22lr rigs exposed turrets and zero stop are a must have.
I currently own only six (soon to be 8) scopes with an adjustable parallax and only two with a zero stop.
This is a silhouette forum, the game and it's requirements are very specific.
