CZ is a European company and therefore uses European standards for threads.
The market over there (as mentioned) is far greater, because in a lot of places, suppressors are a lot easier to obtain. I believe in England the only requirement is that you are over 18 and that they're treated as the piece of PPE that they are. They see a lot of use on airguns over there as well.
A fun fact for you is that $20 .22" airgun suppressors apparently work very well with subsonics, though obviously cheap suppressors aren't big in the US with the $200 surcharge you guys get charged.
