Im guessing its a Euro thing.(remember CZ isnt American made)<-- that would explain "why in the world" LOL
I think DIP sells an adapter to convert it to 1/2X28

Im guessing its a Euro thing.(remember CZ isnt American made)<-- that would explain "why in the world" LOLWhy in the world is it not threaded 1/2x28? I bought one, it's my fault I didn't check further, but really?
Looks like I'm gonna sell it and have my current .22lr American cut off and threaded. Anybody see any reason not to do this.
Bill
That is ture, but I just bought a 16" threaded CZ. I was going to sell it and have my American threaded. Gemtech will do it for $150. The adapter costs $45. so that only leaves $100. I'd still have $250 or so to spend on other stuff I don't need.Just get an adapter and put on it. That will be cheaper than threading your American.
It would be easier and a little cheaper. But why not fix it right? Cheaper isn't always better. For me, adapters are a temporary fix, but that's just me.Wouldn't adding the adapter be cheaper and easier than cutting and re-threading?
