The stock barrel shoots very good itself. I really like the extra weight the Lilja barrel added.I'm jealous. Nice shooting. Would love for the VPT to be my next CZ .How did the stock barrel shoot?

AWE Man!!! You mean I'm suppose to be shooting more than one shot through my "ONE HOLER" groups.Nice shooting ! Congrats. I love my VPT. So far I have been able to get a 3 shot and 4 shot one holer. Working on 5.
These 457 VPTs are real shooters.
Trijicon Tenmile HX 3x18x50, I can see the 22 LR holes in the paper at 150 yds. What scope do you have on the rifle?
You are very welcome Sir!!!
Thanks!!!It's all about the fun!
And it looks like you got a real winner going there. I'll be keeping an eye out for future feedback.
Glad to see your results going in the right direction.
My 16" factory barrel shoots very good. Kind of got the bug to try another barrel, decided to go longer and heavier for weight. Kept looking at all my options for barrels and everything was 1/2 to 2/3's the way to a new Lilja barrel so I picked up one. I'm very happy with my choice.I'm somewhat surprised that you swapped out your barrel. Seems to me from your previous posts you were already getting one hole groups out of your VPT. You were actually one of the enabling forces that made me think that a 16" VPC could perform that well ( even though I wasn't a fan of these short barrels).
I will say that the longer barrel looks a whole lot better on tyour rifle. I bet the balance and reduced muzzle blast is improved too.
This renews my interest of swapping out my 16" barrel (which shoots VG as well) to the 20" MTR barrel I have sitting on the shelf.
Yes Sir!!! Both rifles are awesome for sure.I keep saying it...I got to get one of those VPT...or maybe just painting my VPC would be good enough.... 🤔. No... I got to get one.Your a lucky man to have both.
Ordered it straight from Lilja....$506.34 to my door. It is the .900 Straight Cylinder. The only one in stock right now is the Varmint Taper.Where did you purchase the Lilja barrel? Thanks
If you ever get over this way...we can definitely make it happen!!!BowChamp....I know where you live. Can you possibly ask your grandson how much he will charge me for lessons if I drive over this spring?
Thank You Sir!!!I've never been more proud then when watching my boys out perform me in all sports. I can hardly wait for my Grandchildren to start doing the same. It looks like you have built some very nice arrows, and trained some fine Indians.
Yes Sir!!That 7 year old boy will remember going to the range with "Pop" for the rest of his life! That's absolutely priceless!
When I was a kid, both my grandpas took me shooting. They each only had one 22lr rifle and neither was anything special (Glenfield 60 and Winchester 67). But I happen to be the caretaker of both of those rifles now and they mean the world to me. Both grandpas have passed away and I'm nearing 50 myself, but the memories of shooting with them will be with me as long as I live.
****... you're making me want a lilja now.
They are worth the wait for sure!!Thanks very much. Looking for the heavy barrel so will continue waiting!
I ordered it straight from Lilja....the .900 straight cylinder barrel is out of stock right now.Where did you get the barrel?
We shot the same lot # through 3 different Lilja barrels. Shot the same in all three.Boy would I like to get Standard+ to shoot that good.
Thank You Sir!!!This thread just made my day. Well done to all of you.
Well Dang Mr. C !!!!!!Yeah, that's adequate.👍
