Just got a phone call from my local dealer. I had asked her to order a CZ 452 American in .17 HRM. She just called back and asked if I wanted the heavy bbl. for an additional $15. The answer was yes! I was not aware that the .17 came in a HB model.

According to some other posts, I believe Accusport has a corner on the Varmint Barreled .17 American for about a year. Some kind of contract deal. My local gun dealer gets his from Accusport.

I know that my dealer uses Accusport and she said that it was a special deal from the distributor-so that must be the deal. Happy, happy,joy,joy!!!!!

I bought two boxes of .17s at the gun show this past weekend, I cannot get over how small these things are. I have taken larger pills. I cannot wait for this rifle to get in.
