Was at the nearest Gander Mtn (Winchester, VA) yesterday evening and got a chance to hold each of the rifles.
One Crickett was missing its front sight, ALL had the rear aperture bent backwards. Of the three, coming up to the shoulder, it felt most comfortable.
Henry Mini-Bolt, Wow what a short LOP!!
Savage Cub-T, the ones with the thumbhole stock and aperture, I really had to scrunch my head down to get to the sights on that one.
Of course, them having the gunlocks in place didn't help the feel of handling, but I certainly gained an idea of what they felt like in my hands.
The H&R single shot .22 felt the best, followed up by the reduced price Rossi

When I went in to the local GM to pick up a digital camo Ruger 10/22, my 5-year old daughter went with me. Shortly thereafter, we walked out with a new 10/22 AND a pink Crickett. The one she got was in great shape - no bent/missing sights or other maladies. She shoots it like a champ.

I am very happy with the little rifle.
