I've got a couple rifles with the Lyman MJT rear sight, and one with a Williams FP-GR-TK and would rate them very even in terms of quality and function.
I do think the Williams has the better of the two adjustment knobs, but that's a personal touch and feel thing, not function.
Gone are the days of the all steel Lyman and Redfield sights, they had to be cared for or they'd rust but those really were better than the current crop.
