re:clerke range report
I too have had better results with CCI "standard velocity" and "green tag" ammo in my 16" Clerke, but there is not "that" much difference in terms of performance between SV and GT in my recent experience. Last outing I got sub 1/2" groups with each CCI brand. Go figure. For hunting I still like Winchester power points........slightly worse grouping at 50 yards with the PP's, but it knocks down squirrels, crows and rabbits effectively.
I just had CPC true the bolt face and I'm dying to see if I can now get even better/consistant results!
