Which is the most durable of the buffers for the stock 10/22 Magnum?

Just installed a red tactical solutions, but took out a clear one which I forgot whose manufacture it was. It only lasted about 400 rounds.

got a red one in both of mine, I know for sure that one gun has seen over 5 K rounds, I cannot remember who I bought it from, they were a vendor on this forum.

I just looked things up, it was a Weapons Kraft buffer. I ended up buying 5 3 for me 2 for friends they are all going strong. One of them may have more that the 5 K rounds that I have on mine. No problems so far

The stock buffer lasted 15,000 rounds so far

Put in a weaponkraft poly buffer, it takes about 3 minuts you will enjoy the reduction in action noise. I have also got to believe there is a lessening of wear and tear withthe softer recoil.

The kidd buffers look tuff , they say they have never seen a worn one

I use 1/4" exterior diameter fuel line (made for R/C engines) with a steel core made from drill-rod in my Magnums.

In my regular 10/22s I use 1/4" orange belting "left over" from work. It works really well. If you want to order some of your own:

Skeeters (Rimfire Tech) buffers are made for the higher pressures of the hmr, hm2 and 22mag. They are harder than the traditional poly buffers but not as hard as steel.
