I took 12 minutes to do some Dremel'ing and it works now.

Did you just remove grip material from under the extension (i.e., was it bottoming out on the grip)?

No, it was the beveling of the mag release where it contacts the mag.

My factory mag release had some hand beveling (presumed done from the factory) as it wasn't anodized.

I just transferred the lines of the design from the factory one to the Tac Sol one. It's much better.
