I have one my Savage and I think I've gotten bad one. The rifle is pretty accurate but I just installed a Basix trigger so off to the range this am. The trip before the rifle was right on at 100. This morning it was shooting 3" Left. Cranked in an adjustment and it held well for a box of Hornady. Switched to the CCI and suddenly it was 10" high! Well no big deal I can see a change in bullet weight doing that. Go back to the Hornady and it's at least six inches right. Played with the adjustments and now I would get the standard 3/4" group but the next group would be at least 9" off and several inches high. I suspect that I have a bad adjustment mechanism. I called Bass Pro and they said they would gladly swap it out or give me a credit towards something else. I'm going to give the BSA a try again as I like the range adjustment mechanism and if this one is bad it's off to something else.

Corpsie,

Yep, This rifle's has on the order of 700 rounds through it always acting very predictable and accurate. It's just suddenly started doing this. Also checked all the screws for the scope and rifle and they were good. I'm leaning towards an internal failure of the scope. As I said, before this it was fine and all I had done recently was change the trigger out. On that let me give a big Bravo Zule to Basix. Great trigger and an easy drop in change.
