dropped the hammer on a buckmark camper
i just bought a new camper, base mdl black. got it at academy sports, $299.99. i have been reading up on it here and decided to do the deed today. i took my bore light with me due to all the posts about the firing pin peening on the chamber face---gave it a very close up inspection and NO MARK AT ALL!!! yeah, cause it was the only buckmark they had. i also gave a good look at the muzzle, all ok on the crown too. it appeared that there is a slight chamfer(( spelling??)) around the chamber end of barrel. seems like i have seen some pics where this wasnt present. the test fire cartridge case with my pistol is dated april 2012. i have ordered a scope rail for it already, have a 1x40 tube type red dot ready to go on it so my old tired eyes can see the target! my only complaint is why browning doesnt include the rail and a second magazine with the new pistol!!!!! ok, charge a few bucks more but INCLUDE THEM. i cant wait to break it in at my indoor range next week after the rail gets here. i found browning magazines local for 23.95, not bad after looking on line at some of the prices plus shipping.:AR15firin:bthumb:
