I recently received a Boyd's Blaster stock. It is Pepper laminate in color and there are several small areas on the stock that are still the original brown color of the wood. Has anyone else experienced this? What can be done to fix this problem ? Other than this the stock is really well done.

I have had several laminates that have had these spots. I didn't think it detracted from the appearance but that depends on how big they are. Had a Fajen that kept bleeding sap I think, couldn't see hole or anything in the finish but every week or so I had to clean the sticky residue off in one small spot??? Sold the stock so I don't know if it every quit?
