I was looking for something else on Amazon and saw the Anykit bore scope. For $50 I figured I would give it a try.

The neat part to me is the mirror can be removed and it's a straight camera. It plugs directly in to my lap top. I have no idea how well it will hold up but I thought I would pass it along.

That looks very good maybe I need to start looking on Amazon. I have a Kimber Government model that I've shot for years that I probably should get a good look at the bore. My latest add a CZ 457 MTR shouldn't need it (brand new).
The two barrel pictures are of each end of the rifling in the barrel that came on my MTR. You never know what you have until you look.
Bigbore I did run it all the way through the barrel in the pictures. You focus it by screwing the mirror in or out and took a little back and forth to get the best picture. I'm happy with it for now. Only time will tell how well it holds up.
Bigbore the one that you posted the link to is the one I got. I'm not smart enough to post a link.

Had time this morning to work with the scope. Thought I would post more pics for anyone that's interested. These were all taken from the breach end of my 455 Ultra Lux with 28in barrel.

I have been wanting a bore scope foe quite a while but just couldn't justify the cost, this looks like a great find. It looks like they get the light right which is critical for this kind of photography, lighting is 75% of the shot IMO.

I'll probably pull the trigger on one of these.
The brightness is adjustable I'm using the min. setting.
Nice pix of a very good, and clean, bore 1522. $50 well spent.
Thanks Al it looks cleaner than I expected it's got more than 200 rounds since I've done anything more than pull a patch through it . I try to work on the carbon ring about every 500.
The AnyKit was gone so I have one of these on the way. Looks identical although I think the label looks better.;)
