I was on the BKL web site today and they said that their rings will fit 3/8, as well as the European guns. Is this correct? I have the BKL mounts on my Marlin and really like them. How can they fit both sizes correctly? Has anyone ever used the BKL mounts on an Anschutz???

The BKL's show some brilliance of design. They can work on all sorts of dovetails for two reasons:

- they engage the top edge of the dovetail and grip it top and bottom.
- the clamp is symmetrical and will center on both 11mm and tipoff dovetails.

They don't rely on engaging the face of the dovetail so the angle of the dovetail doesn't matter much.

I find it amazing that they can open enough to engage the "tipoff" dovetail on the CZ American which is 0.5" across the top and also solidly engage dovetails only 0.4" across. Best of all they will center on either and will put the scope over the center of the bore every time as long as the dovetail is symmetrical to the bore.

Now if they would make one that would accept Burris Signature inserts...

I have the 30mm version of these rings on my Anschutz 1717D. They work perfectly.
